Scott R. Davies is the founder and President of Velocity 1 LLC.
Scott Davies
Scott has been a career aviator for over 25 years. He is an FAA licensed Airline Transport Pilot with 13 years of experience and holds the position of Captain with the world’s largest air carrier. He is a retired U.S. Navy officer and pilot, with 21 years of service.
Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and is a 2008 graduate of the Executive MBA Program at Villanova University.
Scott is the author of The V1 Concept of Air Transportation Management. Using 4-dimensional trajectories, this independent research proposal investigates redefining U.S. aviation infrastructure capacity as a ubiquitous utility and a tradable commodity. The goal of the concept is to allow air transportation to evolve as an economically efficient enabler of U.S. GDP growth, in the increasingly competitive global economy of the 21st century.
